Welcome to a different kind of dating experience. At Veronata, we believe that real chemistry starts with a great conversation. Here's a step-by-step guide to how we help you find it.

Step 1: Discover with Your Ears

Forget endless swiping through curated photo galleries. Your journey on Veronata starts in the Feed, a stream of 30-second voice clips.

• Listen to Personalities: You'll hear people answer fun and thoughtful prompts, giving you a true sense of their humor, intelligence, and vibe.
• Photos are Blurred: Everyone's photo is blurred by default. This lets you connect with the person behind the profile first, without the pressure of a snap judgment. It's about chemistry, not just appearances.

Step 2: The Spontaneous Voice Date

This is where the magic happens. As you explore the feed, our matchmaking system works in the background to find compatible users who are online and ready to talk right now.

• The Interruption: When we find a great match for you, we'll interrupt your feed with an invitation for a spontaneous, 1-minute voice date.
• A Moment to Prepare: You'll see your match's name, age, and their blurred photo, with a 15-second countdown to the start of the call. If you're not ready, you can simply cancel and return to the feed.
• The First Conversation: If you both accept, you're connected for a 60-second, voice-only conversation. It's a low-pressure way to see if there's a real spark.

Step 3: The Connection, On Your Terms

After your date ends, the power is in your hands. There's no pressure to make an instant decision.

• The Post-Date Screen: You'll be asked how the date went. You have three simple options:

• Yes, Connect ♡: If you're interested in talking more.
• Not this time: A respectful way to decline.
• Decide Later: If you're not sure yet.

The Connections Hub: All your interactions are neatly organized in your Connections Hub. You can revisit your "Undecided" dates later to make a final decision, or start chatting with your mutual "Connected" matches. Photos are only revealed after a mutual connection is made.

A Note on Our Economy: Sparks ⚡

Veronata is free to use for all core features, including browsing, matching, and connecting. We are a usage-based platform with no monthly subscriptions. For users who want to enhance their experience, we offer Sparks.

You get a few free Sparks every day, and you can purchase more. You can use them for special actions like:

• Extend a Date: If your 1-minute date is going great, you and your match can both choose to spend 5 Sparks to add 3 more minutes to the conversation.
• Send a Priority Invite: Hear someone in the feed you really want to talk to? You can send them a Priority Invite for 25 Sparks. Your profile will appear in their special "Invites" inbox, and if they accept, they get a portion of the Sparks you spent.
• Boost Your Profile: Want more matches now? You can spend 50 Sparks to jump to the front of the matchmaking queue for 30 minutes.
